Our Faith
The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, revealing His design and plan for mankind. It is the authoritative and infallible rule of faith and conduct.
There is only one true God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—commonly known as the Trinity.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, both fully human and fully divine. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again.
Though created good, man willingly fell into sin, bringing death into the world. Every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation—trusting Christ by faith and repentance to be their personal Savior.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and service, just as in New Testament times. Its initial physical evidence is speaking in tongues, as on the Day of Pentecost.
The church observes two ordinances: water baptism by immersion following repentance and receiving Christ, and Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.
Divine healing of the sick is provided for in Christ's atonement and is a privilege for believers today. Christians also look to the Blessed Hope—the rapture of the Church—followed by Christ's millennial reign and the eternal New Heavens and New Earth.
