Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Visiting Our Parish
Parking is available for those attending Sunday worship. If you have trouble finding a spot, a greeter or fellow parishioner will be glad to help point you in the right direction.
Children are welcome. St. Stephen's has a Sunday School and a nursery (governed by the parish's Sunday School and Nursery policy), so families can worship with little ones cared for.
Join the Sunday Worship Service at 10:00 am — a Eucharist using the Book of Alternative Services (BAS). On the 4th Sunday of the month the service is Morning Prayer (BAS) instead. Arrive a few minutes early and a greeter will help you find a seat and a service booklet; there is no need to know the responses ahead of time.
St. Stephen's seeks to make worship welcoming to everyone. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact the church office at (807) 683-6051 ahead of your visit and the parish will do its best to accommodate you.
Stay after the service for Sunday Coffee Hour — a relaxed time of fellowship and refreshments where newcomers are warmly welcomed and can meet the parish community.
