St. Luke's Episcopal Church is dedicated to worship, community engagement, and social justice. They welcome all to explore their faith and participate in their diverse programs.
Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Visiting Our Parish
Parking is available on-site for those attending worship, with additional street parking nearby. Greeters can help direct first-time visitors when they arrive.
Children are warmly welcomed in worship. Sunday School is offered at 10:00AM, at the same time as the Sunday morning Holy Eucharist, so children can learn and grow alongside the congregation.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join any of our services. Sunday Holy Eucharist is at 10:00AM, in person or live on Facebook (search 'St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Scituate, MA'). All are welcome at God's table — no Episcopal background or membership is required.
St. Luke's strives to be a welcoming place for everyone. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out ahead of your visit and we will be glad to help make your time with us comfortable.
Visitors are invited to stay after the service for coffee and fellowship, a relaxed chance to meet clergy and parishioners and ask any questions about the church.
