North Syracuse Christian Church has been faithfully serving the community of North Syracuse for over 50 years, emphasizing love and discipleship. They are a welcoming church family committed to teaching and preaching biblical truth.
Our Faith
NSCC is committed to teaching and preaching biblical truth, holding Scripture as the authoritative guide for faith and practice. Growth in Christ comes through ongoing study and application of God's Word.
The church's central mission is to communicate the cross of Christ with love and compassion. Salvation and transformed life flow from Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection.
NSCC traces its roots to the Restoration Movement begun by Thomas Campbell and Barton Stone in 1832, which sought to restore New Testament Christianity without denominational labels or creeds beyond Scripture itself.
Though independently functioning, NSCC considers itself part of a global sisterhood of churches under the Christian Church, Church of Christ, and International Churches of Christ heritage, emphasizing unity among Christians over denominational distinctives.
The church exists to prepare individuals to lead committed lives of service to the Lord, growing in Christ and reaching out to others in His name.
