Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the primary authority for Christian faith and practice. As a biblically-rooted congregation, we look to Scripture to reveal God's love in Jesus Christ and to guide us along the path of discipleship.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator and sustainer of all things, who calls all people into a loving relationship with Himself.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who lived, died, and rose again for the salvation of the world. As a Christ-centered church, our mission is to lead all onto a path of Christ-centered discipleship and to live out Christ-like qualities.
Following our Wesleyan heritage, we believe salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. God's grace goes before us, justifies us, and works within us so that we may grow in holiness of heart and life.
We celebrate two sacraments instituted by Christ—Baptism and Holy Communion. Communion is offered regularly as an outward sign of God's grace and a means by which the faithful are nourished and united with Christ and one another.
We believe followers of Jesus are called to KNOW the love of God in Christ, GROW in their love for God, and SHOW God's love by serving others. Through prayer, worship, and study, the Holy Spirit transforms believers into the likeness of Christ.
We believe the Church is called to make disciples and transform communities through worship, discipleship, community, and service. As a mission-directed people, we live out Christ's love by serving our neighbors and the wider world.
