Medicine Hat Church of God is about renewing the heart and restoring the life of its congregation and community.
Our Faith
We believe the whole Bible is completely and equally inspired by God and is His written Word, verbally inspired and our standard for faith and doctrine.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary, who was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead, and who ascended to heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.
We believe all have sinned and fall short of God's glory, and that repentance is commanded of God for the forgiveness of sins. Justification, regeneration, and the new birth are accomplished by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, received through faith in the blood of Christ, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, with holiness as God's standard of living for His people.
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart, and in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance as the initial evidence of this baptism. We also believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, along with the ordinances of the Lord's Supper, feet washing, and divine healing provided for in the atonement.

We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ—first to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints, and then to reign on earth for a thousand years—followed by the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
