Come as you are. Everyone is welcome here.
At Live Oak Church, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is true, Jesus is God's son, and through Jesus we can all experience eternal life.
Our Faith
The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit to record the very words of Scripture. Because of this divine inspiration, the Bible is without error.
There is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son of God and second member of the Trinity, became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to be the Savior of a lost world.
All people were created in the image of God for fellowship with him, but through sinful disobedience became alienated from that relationship. As a result, people are incapable of restoring a right relationship with God by their own efforts.
The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, is the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to all who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sin.
Every Christian is called to live for Christ rather than for themselves. Through obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Holy Spirit, each believer matures and is conformed to the image of Christ.
