Contact UsLethbridge Mennonite Church is a small, friendly, and caring community committed to following Jesus and promoting peace and service in the community.
Our Faith
We practice baptism upon the confession of faith as an adult or mature believer. Baptism is a public declaration of discipleship — not an infant rite, but a covenant commitment.
We believe following Jesus means rejecting violence and pursuing peace in all relationships. We are committed to nonresistance, reconciliation, and conflict transformation.
We believe the church is a visible community of disciples who share life together. Economic sharing, mutual aid, and accountability are marks of authentic Christian community.
We take seriously the teachings of Jesus — especially the Sermon on the Mount — as a concrete guide for daily life, not merely an ideal. Following Jesus is costly discipleship.
Rooted in our Anabaptist heritage, we hold a historic commitment to the separation of church and state, refusal of oaths, and conscientious objection to military service.

Your First Visit
Free on-site or street parking is generally available near the church; arriving a few minutes early is a good idea in case the lot fills up.
Children are welcome in the service, and many Mennonite churches offer Sunday school or a nursery for younger kids during part of the gathering — ask a greeter at the door for details.
First-time visitors can expect a warm, unassuming welcome without any pressure to stand up, sign in, or be singled out. Mennonite communities tend to emphasize quiet hospitality and genuine community over performance.
Most Mennonite church buildings offer accessible entrances and seating; it's a good idea to call ahead or check with the church office if you have specific accessibility needs.
Coffee and light refreshments are commonly served before or after the service, giving visitors a relaxed chance to meet people in the congregation.
