Contact UsKanata Community Christian Reformed Church is an inclusive, authentic congregation seeking to live out their faith in real life through worship, community building, and justice work. They are rooted in Reformed theology and committed to welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
Our Faith
We hold a deep love for the Bible as God's Story and our story. Scripture is foundational to our faith and practice, nurturing our life together as a believing community.
Our faith and practice are rooted in the love and grace we receive from the Creator God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We worship one God in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God's sovereign love for all of creation is our starting point. We trust that the Creator reigns over all things and graciously draws people and creation into restored relationship through Christ.
Our Christian faith is summarized in three historic creeds: the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. Our doctrinal roots also include the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dort, and Our World Belongs to God.
Every person is created in the image of God and is worthy of respect, care, and a place in the family of God. We believe God welcomes all who seek to know more of God's love.
