Journey Church is a community-oriented church located in Strasburg, CO, committed to helping individuals and families grow in their faith.
Our Faith
There is one eternally existing God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things visible and invisible, perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, wisdom, justice, and mercy, and unchangeable — the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
God has revealed himself to humanity through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God. He has also made himself known through the holy Scriptures and through all of creation.
Human beings, both male and female, were created in God's image for his glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were made without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creation.
When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. Their sin broke their fellowship with God and has fractured all of creation ever since.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a sinless life, willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, and was raised from the dead; now, by grace, God offers eternal life as a free gift to all who follow Christ by faith as Lord and Savior. Salvation is found in Christ alone.
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead. At his return he will usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.

Covenant Children's Church (ages 4–12) during the sermon. Nursery for infants through age 3.
An elder or deacon will greet you at the door. Please fill out a visitor card in the pew.
Wheelchair access via the east entrance ramp. Large-print hymnals available at the door.
Coffee and tea in the narthex before and after worship. Fellowship meal on the last Sunday of the month.
