Our Faith
Cross Pointe Church believes the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's complete revelation of Himself to humanity, totally true and trustworthy without any mixture of error. Scripture is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions are judged, and it testifies throughout to Jesus Christ.
There is one true and living God, infinite in holiness and perfection, who reigns with providential care over the universe and all of human history. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving, and is Father in truth to those who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man yet without sin. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the redemption of sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory to judge the world.
The Holy Spirit is fully divine, inspired the writing of Scripture, and convicts people of sin, righteousness, and judgment. At the moment of salvation He regenerates and baptizes every believer into the body of Christ, indwelling, sealing, and empowering believers for worship, evangelism, and service.

Man is the special creation of God, made in His image, but through the Fall every person inherits a sinful nature and stands in need of salvation that only God can provide through Jesus Christ.
Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by grace through faith alone, not by works, resulting in regeneration and eternal life as a gift of God's grace.
As a Baptist congregation affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Cross Pointe practices believer's baptism by immersion as a public testimony of faith and observes the Lord's Supper as a congregation of baptized believers committed to the Great Commission.
