Holy Rosary & St John Catholic Church is dedicated to serving the community through various social service programs managed by St. Dominic Catholic Church, including education and food assistance.
Our Faith
The Church believes that in the Mass, the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the words of consecration. The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life, uniting the faithful with Christ and one another.
The Church holds that God's revelation comes to us through both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, interpreted faithfully by the Magisterium. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, read in the living context of the Church's teaching authority.
The Church believes Christ instituted seven sacraments—Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony—as visible signs of invisible grace that sanctify the faithful at every stage of life.
Catholics believe in the communion of saints, a spiritual union among the faithful on earth, the souls being purified, and the saints in heaven. Mary, the Mother of God, holds a special place of honor and intercession as the model of faith and discipleship.
The Church teaches that salvation is a gift of grace won by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, received through faith and lived out in works of love and the sacramental life of the Church. Christ established the Church, led by Peter and his successors, as the ordinary means of grace and unity.
