Plan Your Visit →Heart Lake United Church is a United Church congregation committed to living an active faith that connects God, people, and community through worship and service.
Our Faith
Heart Lake United Church expresses its faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in God who creates, reconciles, and renews. As a congregation of the United Church of Canada, they believe God's love is known most fully in the life, teaching, and example of Jesus.
The church believes that everyone is important to Christ, so everyone is important to them. People of all ages, genders, races, and religious experiences are welcomed as a model of diversity living in harmony, because all people belong to God.
Faith is meant to be lived, not merely held. The congregation seeks to live an active faith that connects the community with God and with one another, embracing equality, inclusion, integrity, and peace as expressions of following Jesus.
The Bible is central to worship and is interpreted as a living word that speaks into present-day life. Sunday sermons aim to make Scripture relevant and meaningful for the contemporary world.
The church values spiritual growth and believes Christians mature best together. Through study groups, prayer guides, conversations, and shared worship, members are invited to grow in and express their faith in Jesus alongside others.

Our People
Minister
Gathered worship is a vital expression of the church's faith. Sunday mornings centre on inspiring music, biblically grounded preaching, and sincere prayer as the community draws near to God together.
Faith is expressed through care for the wider community. Ministries such as the Community Food Cupboard, Community Garden, and cooking classes reflect the belief that loving God is inseparable from serving and supporting one's neighbours.
