Our Faith
Gateway Community Church holds a high view of God's sovereignty — His plan, will, and power. Everything that happens in the world, from the acts of nations to the faith of individuals, is ultimately under God's sovereign control, and His infinite love and grace are coupled with the power and ability to work on our behalf.
We believe that no human thought, speech, action, or desire is free of the effects of humanity's fall into sin — even our will is tainted. Apart from God we are 'dead in our trespasses and sins' (Ephesians 2:1) and powerless to save ourselves.
Salvation is ultimately God's work from beginning to end. God calls people into relationship with Him and stirs the desire to respond, urging each person to say yes to His offer of salvation in Jesus Christ and to offer their lives to God in response.
We believe in a covenant-making God who makes promises and faithfully keeps them. Scripture itself bears this out — the Old and New Testaments are God's covenants — and we trust that the same God who binds Himself to His people in promise will always be faithful to fulfill them.
As a Reformed church, we emphasize the kingdom of God — His reign extending over every part of life and creation. We believe followers of Jesus are called to live as kingdom citizens, growing in love for Christ, for one another, and for the community God has placed us in.

Covenant Children's Church (ages 4–12) during the sermon. Nursery for infants through age 3.
An elder or deacon will greet you at the door. Please fill out a visitor card in the pew.

Coffee and tea in the narthex before and after worship. Fellowship meal on the last Sunday of the month.
