First Presbyterian Church in El Dorado, Arkansas welcomes everyone regardless of their past spiritual experiences and aims to build strong relationships with the community.
Our Faith
First Presbyterian Church of El Dorado is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), part of the Synod of the Sun and the Presbytery of the Pines. The church builds on its Presbyterian legacy and shares in the life and governance of the wider denomination.
The church exists to celebrate the life of Christ. Its worship and community life are centered on Jesus Christ, whose light, love and image the congregation seeks to reflect.
The church celebrates Christ lovingly, inclusively and graciously. It describes itself as a welcoming family of faith that extends God's grace to all who come.
The church is called to reflect the light and love of Christ locally, regionally and globally. Faith is lived out through service in the El Dorado community and through mission beyond it.
The congregation sees itself as a family of faith in which members grow together through worship, classes, fellowship and ministries for children and youth.
