Our Faith
This church believes that salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace alone and not earned through good works or human merit. God reaches out to sinners in love before they can reach back to Him.
Justification before God comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Trust in Christ's finished work, not personal effort or religious performance, is what makes a person right with God.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for Christian faith and life. It is central to worship, teaching, and the church's proclamation to the community.
God delivers His grace to His people concretely through Baptism, Holy Communion, and the preached Word. These sacraments and the proclamation of the Gospel are the ordinary ways God strengthens and nurtures faith.
Every baptized Christian is called to serve God and neighbor in daily life and vocation, not only ordained clergy. The congregation sees worship, service, and witness as the calling of the whole people of God.
The church understands its mission as proclaiming God's Word, witnessing to Christ, and ministering to the needs of all people in the community, reflecting God's love in word and action.
The church values gathering regularly for worship and study — including Sunday worship and adult Bible study — as essential to nurturing faith and building up the body of believers together.
