Compass Church is a welcoming family of believers who strive to be open and real with each other and to reach Nanaimo with the love of Jesus.
Our Faith
Compass Church values living in obedience to the authority of Scripture, holding the Bible as the guide for faith, discipleship, and daily life.
Every person is invited by Jesus to follow Him through the journey of life as a disciple, growing to maturity by the Holy Spirit as they abide in Jesus and encourage one another toward growth.
As a Foursquare church, Compass Church values becoming a disciple of Jesus through yielding to the Holy Spirit's guidance, and expresses dependence on God through prayer and acts of worship.
The church values honest, loving, authentic community and healthy relationships, and is committed to being inclusive of the ethnicity and inter-generational makeup of the community it serves.
Compass Church values the commission of Jesus to go out into all the world and make disciples, speaking the Gospel in culturally relevant ways both locally and globally.
