Contact UsThe Diocese of Prince George is situated in the northern part of British Columbia, covering 346,000 square kilometres and serving approximately 6,000 Catholic households across 19 parishes and 21 missions.
Our Faith
We believe that God's revelation is handed on through both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, which together form one deposit of faith entrusted to the Church.
We believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist — that the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Christ at the Consecration.
We celebrate seven sacraments instituted by Christ: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony — each a channel of divine grace.
We believe the Catholic Church is the Body of Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit and led by the successor of Peter. Outside the Church, salvation is difficult but not impossible for those who seek God sincerely.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the Last Judgement, and the hope of eternal life in communion with God.

Visiting Our Parish
Free parking is available on-site or on nearby streets at our parish locations. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a spot and settle in.
Children of all ages are welcome at Mass — the sound of young families is a sign of a living parish. Many parishes offer a children's Liturgy of the Word or Sunday school, and there is no need to worry if little ones are restless.
First-time visitors are warmly welcomed and no registration is required — simply come as you are. Arrive a few minutes early, take any open seat, and follow along with the parish missal or worship aid; if you are not Catholic you are invited to remain in your pew during Communion or to come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing.
Our parishes strive to be welcoming to all. Most locations offer wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating; if you have specific accessibility needs, the parish office is glad to help — call the Diocesan Pastoral Centre at (250) 964-4424.
Many parishes host coffee and fellowship after Sunday Mass — a relaxed chance to meet parishioners, ask questions, and get to know the community.
