Calvary Church is a non-denominational Christian church located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, focused on being Christ’s Church by caring, serving, witnessing, and maturing into the people God wants them to be.
Our Faith
We believe Scripture is the authoritative, inerrant Word of God, given through the Old and New Testaments. These well-preserved, infallible writings contain no errors in their original form and serve as our final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one holy, sovereign, and all-knowing God who eternally exists in three coequal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father directs and sustains all things through the Son and by the Spirit, who together accomplish God's redemptive work.
We believe this triune God, out of love and for His own glory, created all things out of nothing and declared them good.
We believe God created Adam and Eve in His image to love and glorify Him, but their rebellion against God's will brought sin into the human race. Every person is now born with a sinful nature, naturally enslaved to sin and separated from a relationship with God.
We believe the Son of God became human to save the world, retaining His full deity while becoming fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus took the sins of the world upon Himself and redeemed mankind through His life, death, and resurrection.

Calvary Church is located at 707 East Beltline Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI, near I-96 and the East Beltline; on-site parking is available, and visitors can also reach the campus via The Rapid bus routes 14 and 15.
Calvary offers age-specific programming from birth through 4th grade during services, with dedicated ministries for 5th/6th, 7th/8th, and high school students as well — just ask a greeter and they'll help you find check-in.
First-time guests are welcome to simply attend a Sunday service without any obligation; staff and volunteers are on hand to help you find your way, answer questions, and point you toward next steps if you're interested in learning more.
The church building and grounds, including the Prayer Garden (open most days from early morning into the evening), are accessible to all visitors; contact the front desk at 616-956-9377 for any specific accessibility needs.
Stop by for coffee and fellowship before or after the service — it's a relaxed way to meet people and feel at home.
