Contact UsAltizer Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in Huntington, West Virginia, committed to sharing the Gospel and nurturing believers through biblical preaching, worship, and service.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.
We believe that all people are sinners in need of God's grace, and that salvation is received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Works cannot merit salvation.
We practice believer's baptism by immersion as an outward symbol of an inward transformation, following the example of Jesus and the early church.
We believe in the autonomy of the local church and the priesthood of all believers. Every member is called to ministry and is equally responsible before God.
We are committed to sharing the Gospel locally and globally, making disciples of all nations as Christ commanded.
Your First Visit
Free on-site parking is available near the main entrance, with greeters on hand to help you find your way in.
Age-appropriate children's classes and nursery care are offered during the service so kids can learn and worship at their own level.

The building is wheelchair accessible with accommodations such as reserved seating and assistive listening available on request.
Coffee and light refreshments are usually available in the lobby or fellowship area before and after the service.
