Akron Christian Reformed Church is a community of grace, called by the Holy Spirit to participate in God’s redemptive work through worship, prayer, and service.
Our Faith
We believe God is absolutely sovereign over all things — creation, providence, and salvation. He works all things according to the counsel of His will for His glory.
We hold to the Reformed confession that Holy Scripture is the only infallible rule for faith and life. No tradition or church authority may stand above the Word of God.
We affirm the five solas of the Reformation. Salvation is entirely God's gracious gift, received through faith alone, grounded entirely in Christ's atoning work.
We understand God's relationship with His people through the biblical covenants. Baptism is a covenant sign for believers and their children, marking membership in the covenant community.
We are guided by the historic Reformed confessions — Westminster Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, or the Belgic Confession — as faithful summaries of biblical teaching.

Your First Visit
The church is located at 50 Marshall Avenue, Akron, OH 44303. The church parking lot is across the street and two houses down toward Market Street.
Children are warmly welcomed in worship. During communion, the pastor blesses all of the children, and families are encouraged to participate together.
Come as you are—whether you know what you believe or aren't sure, whether you're hurting or hopeful. If you arrive early, you're welcome to enjoy the quiet of the sanctuary. A printed liturgy guides the service so you can easily follow along, with seating both immediately inside the sanctuary doors and across from the communion table. Every Sunday we celebrate communion and invite everyone present to join us.
